MINISTRIES
Our Ministry Philosophy
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
We believe that Christians are given gifts of the Spirit and those gifts are to be used to life each other up, as well as those in need. As such, Grace Baptist offers several areas of ministry in which you and your family can be a part of! In addition to being a blessing to others while serving - ministries are fantastic opportunity to grow closer to others in your church family. So take a look at what is available and don't be afraid to jump in! Ministries are also in place to serve you, or your loved ones in times of need and healing. If you are hurting, or need help - our ministries are available for just such a reason, and we would love to help you.

Children's Church
Some churches want kids to sit still and be quiet. We like them to stand up and be counted! It is never too early to introduce children to the love of God. We want to provide children with a safe, Christian environment to learn, feel love, and experience biblical truths. Our teachers are positive adult role models and enjoy seeing your children grow in their understanding of God and His wonderful ways. 5th and 6th Graders, come to the auditorium during Main Services and worship and listen with the adults and teens.

Awana
A Biblically-based program for children and youth, from age 2 to grade 6, that combines fun and excitement, while teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and how to serve Him. Awana is rooted in the idea that children can have fun while learning God’s Word.
Each club meeting consists of three parts:
-
Council Time- large-group worship & featured speaker
-
Handbook Time- Bible verse memorization and understanding in a small group setting
-
Game Time- emphasizes fun, team building, and sportsmanship
The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Our goal is to reach children, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
WHEN DOES AWANA MEET?
Our clubs meet on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:30 pm to 8:15 pm. Our club year kicks off on the first Wednesday after Labor day. The Awana Directors at Grace are Nathan and Anita Musteen.
Registration is now open. Click here to register.
