Where did you grow up?
I was born in Waterloo, IA, raised in Lee's Summit, MO.
​
Where did you go to school?
I graduated from Lee's Summit Highschool. After HS I joined the Army and served with the 82nd Airborne and 25th Infantry Division. After being medically discharged God gave me the opportunity to become an Air Traffic Controller for 15 years. God has now called me to become a pastor and I am currently studying at Living Faith Bible Institute.

Talk about your family.
My wife, Amanda and I met in high school and we married shortly after in 2003. We have 3 beautiful children Elana, Ean and Wyatt.

When did you become a Christian?
I decided to follow Christ in the Fall of 2003. My wife and I were in our hometown to have our wedding ceremony and went through pre-marital counseling and was presented the gospel. A few days later my wife and I both accepted Christ as our Savior.

In a sentence or two describe your primary responsibilities at Grace?
I am the teen and young adults director. As of now I lead our FOCUS teen ministry on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.

What is your favorite passage in the Bible?
Psalms 19:14 " Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer."

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Our family loves to play games and watch movies together. I also enjoy staying fit and spending time outdoors.
